The town where Alison grew up - a great spot for a potter in the many shops or cafes.

Avebury Stone Circles and Manor
Avebury lies between Marlborough and Devizes (where Tom grew up) it is the worlds largest prehistoric stone circle, encircling the village of Avebury. Silbury hill, West Kennet Long Barrow and The Sanctuary are all along the way.
Avebury henge and stone circles are managed by the National Trust on behalf of English Heritage.
Car park: Pay and display: £7 per day, £4 after 3pm – exact cash required or payment by card in the Visitor Reception in the Old Farmyard.
A recommendation of Alison's sister-in law Olivia (one of their lovely employees!). Actually a great place which we have enjoyed taking Henry to.
